I am proud to be Irish - I was born and raised in Dublin, but I'm really a country girl at heart. I have been teaching Irish for more than 11 years to people from all over the world. I've had the pleasure of helping more than 9,000 students coming from many different countries. From places such as the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand... but also from very small ones such as Panama, Iceland, Belgium, Singapore, etc...

The course is designed for English speakers. As English and Irish are quite different languages, in most of the course I explain things in English, so it will be easier for you to understand the main concepts, and it will make the transition to Irish smoother and easier to understand.

This course will help you further develop your Irish skills and build upon your existing knowledge of the language. To fully appreciate this course, you need to have a basic understanding of Irish.

It is designed for all levels and will address an abundance of functional language. It is recommended that you have completed the Beginner course at least, as there are structures and features outlined that are explained in detail in that course. Understanding the concepts covered in the Beginner course like Features of the Language (séimhiú, urú, gender, broad and slender vowels, pronunciation, and past,  present and future tenses) will enhance your experience of this course. The new Daily Conversations MasterCourse employs more advanced language in certain areas, which I will guide you through and often refer back to the Beginner and Intermediate courses. We look at how the genitive and conditional is often used in natural speech and I highlight how it works in everyday Irish.

I have included study plans on how to get the most out of the course based on your level and learning type. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced speaker, this course will appeal to the Gaeilgeoir who wants to truly live the language.
